with a degree in psychology, are these careers a possible option with the degree in psychology?
Okay so I'm getting my BA in psychology, but I'm planning on getting my MA in human resources OR continuing with my Psychology (still have this year to think about it). But in the mean time I was going to attempt to get a job with my BA in psychology as a social worker or parole officer? Is that possible? I'm very interested in the Social Work- always has been a top career choice for myself, and the parole officer I've just actually found a high interest in that career. yeah that's what I was thinking being a SW and the pay being crappy. I mean pay isn't everything but it needs to be enough to get by.

Maybe, but there are a lot of people with MSWs and a lot of competition for jobs these days. You probably wont make squat as a SW. (Dont know if you care.)
